Today, I have put my world aside
to take the day as it comes
put aside my cares, woes
simply pleased to be, am I! 


In awe, upon creation gaze
stunned at the wonder of it all
how fortunate indeed am I
such splendor to behold 


As I await the sunrise
the glorious new dawn,
no artist's palette,
can ever match
God's greatest gift to all
